Anti-money Laundering

Objective and Scope

Flexbet maintains a comprehensive Anti‑Money Laundering and Know Your Customer program to comply with applicable gambling regulations and to safeguard the integrity of all services on the platform. The policy applies to every user, event, and financial interaction including deposits, bets, withdrawals, promotions, and related account activity.

Trigger Points for Verification

Flexbet may initiate verification at any point based on risk indicators or regulatory obligations. Trigger events include:

  • Suspicion of fraud, money laundering, or other criminal activity.
  • Doubts about the authenticity or adequacy of documents provided.
  • Violations of the Terms and Conditions or internal policies.
  • Any other situation the company deems appropriate to assess customer identity or risk.

During verification, Flexbet may impose temporary restrictions on withdrawals or other account activities until verification is complete.

Identity and Residence Verification Requirements

To establish identity and prevent improper use of the platform, Flexbet requires a minimum data set and supporting documents as standard verification checks.

  • full name, date of birth, citizenship, permanent residential address, and an identification number.
  • a valid government‑issued photo ID (for example a passport, national ID card, or driver’s license) and a document confirming the address of permanent residence (issued within the last three months, such as a utility bill or bank statement).
  • secondary identity documents (driver’s license or other national ID), photographs of the user holding the identification document, and a readable image of the front of the payment card used for verification (if applicable).
  • evidence demonstrating the legitimate source of funds used for gaming activity (see below).

Source of Funds and Financial Transparency

Flexbet requires documentation demonstrating the origin of funds used for gambling. Acceptable evidence includes:

  • Payslips, salary or pension statements, dividends, or other verifiable remuneration.
  • Bank statements showing consistent income from identifiable sources.
  • Trust deeds clearly showing entitlement to funds.
  • dated proof of an award or payment received by the user.

Documents must clearly establish a lawful, identifiable source of funds and be attributable to the account holder. Documents that do not align with the account name or address, or that are illegible, may be rejected.

Due Diligence and Record Keeping

Flexbet conducts customer due diligence (CDD) and maintains appropriate records as part of compliance with applicable laws. The standard due diligence process should be completed within five working days of establishing a business relationship. If enhanced due diligence is required, this process may extend up to fourteen working days.

Anonymous and Duplicate Accounts

Anonymous or nom de plume accounts are not permitted. If identity cannot be established, the account shall be closed, deposits returned to the source, and any winnings may be forfeited. Flexbet shall identify and, where appropriate, cancel linked or duplicate accounts and may reverse winnings and return deposits to the original source.

Politically Exposed Persons and Risk‑Based Approach

Flexbet applies a risk‑based approach to customers who are or have been politically exposed. PEP status requires heightened due diligence and ongoing monitoring. The platform will collect information to identify PEPs and reserves the right to decline or terminate services for breach of KYC/AML requirements.

Ongoing Monitoring and Transaction Review

Flexbet conducts ongoing monitoring of account activity and transaction patterns to identify unusual or suspicious behavior. Suspicious activity is escalated to the compliance function for further review, which may result in temporary restrictions, additional verification, or account closure where warranted.

Compliance Actions and User Rights

Flexbet reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate a user’s account for non‑compliance with KYC and AML requirements. In such cases, funds may be returned to the origin of funds, or withheld if return is impracticable. Users will be informed of material actions and given a reasonable opportunity to address any identified issues.

Data Protection, Privacy and Retention

All personal data collected under this policy is processed in accordance with Flexbet's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Verification data is retained for the duration of the customer relationship and for a period required by law or regulatory guidance, after which it is securely disposed of unless a longer retention is mandated.

Policy Updates and Communication

Flexbet may update this policy. Material changes become effective two weeks after posting. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Existing users may discontinue use prior to the effective date if they do not agree with the updates.

Contact and Dispute Resolution

For questions about identity verification, document submission, or AML compliance, users may contact Flexbet Support via the platform contact options or by emailing support@flexbet. Disputes are processed under Flexbet's dispute resolution procedures as published in the Terms and Conditions.
